#1 – Verrückt Water Slide in Kansas City
Standing taller than the Statue of Liberty and even Niagara Falls, The Verrückt water slide at the Schlitterbahn Kansas City Water Park was once the tallest water slide in the world before claiming the death of a ten-year-old boy whose raft went airborne in 2016. In November 2016 the park announced the ride would be demolished.

The AquaDuck slide is a water coaster on two Disney cruise ships. It only travels at around 7 or 8 miles an hour, but the ride takes you on a journey around the cruise ship, offering stunning views of the sea or the boat itself.

The Kilimanjaro water slide in Brazil used to be the tallest in the world. According to rumors, your body doesn’t touch the slide until reaching the bottom because of how steep the ride is.

The Evergreen Wings and Waves Waterpark in Oregon holds a makeshift Boeing 747 with 4 slides in the belly of the plane. The slide takes you down the side of the plane and into a 91,703 gallon wave pool.

The Scorpion’s Tail water slide at Noah’s Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin takes you down a 10 story plunge at 50 feet per second. The ride is so fast that it’s over in 7-8 seconds!

#11 – Summit Plummet Water Slide in Florida
The Summit Plummet at Disney’s Blizzard Beach in Florida features a 120 foot drop. Travelling at 60 miles per hour, passengers are launched from a makeshift mountain ski chalet and taken on a wild ride.
#12 – Walhalla Wave Slide in Orlando
The Walhalla Wave Slide at Aquatica Orlando has a 720 degree corkscrew drop which throws you into a vertical wave up a wall of water, creating the effect of zero gravity.
